Hey all, just a quick update. The map that is posted in this fourm is drasically wrong. Google fail.  The Inn is directly off of I-64. The maps and directions google give WILL put you in the middle of nowhere. They did something wrong with the address and it marks the hotel in the middle of the woods basically. 185 Afton Circle is the correct address..not Afton Mountain Road. No matter what address you put in, the map is still wrong.  Mapquest is the way to go on this one.

Remember, reduced rates ($40 a night) means make it a 2 day event and roll up

also, i was bored and went up to the drive yesterday just for shits-n-giggles.  still a bit of snow, and tons of gravel on the road.  so be careful, lest you take a corner too hard and fly off the mountain.

I think there are camp grills provided at great meadow.  All we need to bring is charcoal.  Make sure yall bring lighter fluid or auto light coals.

When we get to Front Royal, We will take a collection of 3-5 bucks each. We will send a few people into the Food Lyon to buy the stuff we need for the group you are in.
Charcoal, Meat, buns, ice, soda, cookies!!, ect...
Pushing Luck is supplying some things... Foil, ketchup, Mustard, some soda,

When we get to Big Meadows, I am hoping we can get enough grills for everyone to use,  this has not been a problem in the past.

well most everyone here knows me and knows i really dont sugar coat things, so here i go. The conversation and language may be at sometimes intended for adult ears only. this being said i hope no one would take offense to it considering we r all adults and are aloud to speak how we please amongst each other. I hate to be the ass but someone has to put out a fair warning.
