Whats up guys so i need some opinions i bought my 83 Jetta Coupe 1.6TD back in April for $180. she sat in a field for the last 10 years under a tree with the drivers window down. in a month i managed to bring back from the dead and won 2nd place in the pos class at Dubs at the Beach and now i have hit a road block.
I need to get new tires and i cant decide weather to replace the 175/70/13s with 175/50/13s and keep the wheels that are on it now or dust off my snowflakes and wrap them with 155/55/14s so what do you guys think. my whole goal it to be as low as possable and keep the rat look while being decent on the eyes.
Buyin new wheels is out of the question at this time this is a very low budget project i spray painted her and the most expencive thing i have bought for her so far is the raceland coils. so tell me what you think all help is aprecated as i am going for first place POS class at H20

Hey guys, I just want to make sure this isn't some kind of fraud to gain petty money.


I have a good friend who, like the many of us, are passionate about our cars and others. Just yesterday, his car was stolen off his own driveway and stripped and was found in a neighboring community. Police are holding it for prints but his car will never return to the same state. I'm starting this thread as a motive for the rest of us to help another car enthusiast in need. We are students and things don't come easy for us. So please, any proceedings will go towards his car and any little bit will help indefinitely.
